3 modes of pet transport
All our trips are accompanied, except if it is impossible due to airline restrictions (Weight >45 kg. and some dog breads)
Shared pet transport
Our agents travel with your animals and another one from another client. Maximum 4 animals per companion. If you pick up at the airport there is no waiting time. Home delivery must be considered, it is not included.
All customers must agree on the date of travel and there is no home delivery, only to the airport of destination.
Combined pet transport
Our agent only transports your animals, and on the return flight travels with the animals of another client. You may need to change the date of your trip by one or two days. More economical than an exclusive trip.
The date of travel may differ by 1 or 2 days from the date you wish, we can deliver/collect to your home, but the date is set by us.

Price of pet transportation to France
We frequently receive questions like “How much does it cost to send a dog to France?”. “What is the price of taking my cat to another country?”. The price of transporting or shipping a pet to Portugal depends on:
- The transport route: The route selected to transport the pet will influence the total price of the service.
- The cost set by the airlines: If the shipment is made by plane, the price must be increased by the amount set by the airline for the transport of the pet in the cabin or hold.
- Characteristics of the pet: Depending on the species and size of the animal, the cost of transportation may vary.
- Origin and destination addresses: The distance between the origin and destination addresses, as well as the ease of transportation, will influence the cost of the service.
Information on transporting pets to France
Before collecting the necessary documentation to proceed with the transport of our pets, we must take into account some restrictions:

An international pet health certificate.
A sanitary export permit for the pet animal.
Animal transport companies
At Relomar we work with transportation agencies, shipping companies and professional animal transportation companies. This way we make sure that the pets travel in good conditions and with quality companies that guarantee the welfare of the animals during the trip. In addition, we work with relocation agents in charge of accompanying the pet during the airplane trip and receiving it at the end of the transfer.
